What is your primary product or service?
Turning Point Media is an independent video and new media production corporation based in Green Hills, PA. Although based in Berks County, we regularly serve clients from Lancaster, Lebanon, Montgomery and Schuylkill County. Many of our clients have connections to global markets. In serving their needs, we have traveled far and wide across the U.S. and internationally to Italy and China. We also serve international clients from Sweden, Switzerland and the U.K. Our clients range from large corporations to small business and non-profit organizations.
We provide a complete range of services from project and conceptual development, to HD video field and studio production, as well as digital photography. We complete our clients' projects by providing professional narration, graphic design and editing. We distribute in a variety of media, from HD Broadcast and Cable through dedicated FTP, to web-based delivery, and of course on DVD.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I started over 30 years ago as a photography major in college, but then soon discovered the world of video production. Things were much different then, but the core skills I gained there have served me well.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Although quality of production value is a primary concern to any production facility, basic customer service is lackluster. We have won many a contract and kept many of our clients for over 20 years with the simple philosophy of setting expectations and then fulfilling them. Many people who we deal with are unfamiliar with our type of business. They don't really know how things happen or what to expect. We make sure they are comfortable and well informed. Bringing a project in on time and on budget is critical to our success.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We operate out of our studio in beautiful Green Hills, just south of Reading. As we are a boutique operation,we don't plan any expansions, rather to concentrate on our current clientele and those we are fortunate to meet along the way.

Our business is primarily B2B so our standard payments are either COD or net upon approved company PO.

We have worked worldwide, with our primary clientele concentrated in the 5 county area around Berks County.
