The collection at MAAM features historic military and civilian aircraft and aviation artifacts, with a special emphasis on the Mid-Atlantic region. Under current restoration is what will be the only flying example of the P-61 Black Widow, recovered by MAAM from its mountain crash site in New Guinea. MAAM's World War II Weekend held the first full weekend in June each year, is world renowned as the best show of its kind.
